Hello, let us say a few words About-Us. As Members of Yuma Horse Show Association, we noticed there is not a web site that members of the equine community can go to and get all the information they need. We're not a large corporation or professional web site developers. We're just people that are a part of the equine community that want to do our part. As we build our site over the next few years, we would like any constructive ideas from our guests. We will become the one place you can count on to find what you're looking for.
A brief bit of history About-Us. We started out getting involved in the horse world when our daughter Kayla, turned 5 years old. She showed a passion for horses and how could we keep her from her passion. Her love is in the discipline of hunter jumper. We started out with a wonderful pony named Willie, He was a Arabian Welsh mix and quickly became a part of the family. We as parents didn't know just how much of a personality a horse can have. Willie was the king of the pasture and acted like he had something to prove in the shows. He was a star and helped our daughter build her confidence and start winning shows. Willie passed away with cushings disease. It was a real low point in our lives. We were able to go forward by having a few more horses to take care of at that time. As our daughter grows up, we realize that she was born with the love of horses in her blood. I guess there are two type of people in the world, horse lovers and all the others. We feel blessed that our daughter has such a positive focus in life. Well that is just a little About-Us and we would like to hear about you.
