RIVER BOTTOM RANCH SPRING EVENTS 2010

SATURDAY FEBUARY 27, 2010, 10am - 12 pm - Equine Body works and Massage by Desna Young. Desna is certified in equine bodyworks and will be showing you some basic techniques you can use on your own horse.

SATURDAY MARCH 20, 2010 - 9am - 4pm - TACK SALE AND SWAP - Consignment sales welcome.

SUNDAY APRIL 25, 2010 10am- 12pm - VET CLINIC, Presentation on Laminitis by Dr. Karen Hassan. This is a precursor to turning your horse out on pasture in the springtime. A brand inspector will be available upon request to prepare you for summer travel plans.

SATURDAY MAY 22 2010 - 10am - 12pm - Dressage demonstration by Birke Klevenhausen-Smith. Birke was an accomplished competitor in Germany and is accepting clients for lessons and training. She brought her horse Gladness to the United States with her when she moved here in 2009.

THERE is a possibility of a Roping Clinic in JUNE, put on by Pual Buffington. Paul competed in the American Cowboy Team Roping Associations national competition held in Reno. He ropes most weekends but may be willing to teach us all how to throw a rope.

KARYN SHIRLEY CLINIC MARCH 7th, 2010. Learn how to increase communication with your horse and understand how to feel when your horse is trying and properly reward him or her for it ! Karyn is open to teaching both English and Western Riders and can address any problem that you might be having specifically with your horse. $75 per horse, $10 to audit. The JANUARY POTLUCK / MEETING will be Saturday January 16th, 2010. Meeting will be held at the Washoe Valley Land Owners Building.
